Five artists from the roster of attenuation circuit teamed up to create a night of electroacoustic improvisation at the 2012 edition of the lab30 festival. Varying duos and one collective jam session showcased the enormous possibilities of improvised sound work with samplers, voice, electronic and acoustic percussion, violin, and various other sound sources.

Processed field recordings and manipulated guitars, vocal experiments and heavy beats, and an all-out free noise freak out – the attenuation circuit label night at lab30 highlighted many of the experimental approaches to sound that make the musical side of the media arts festival so interesting.
