The Three Stigmata is a solo Drone project that was born in the end of 2019 from the mind of Sebastiano Liso. Always interested in atmospheric music, Sebastiano moved to Turin in Italy for his studies. After his experiences in hardcore/sludge bands, and inspired by a lot of projects like Uboa, The Body and Death Kneel, The Three Stigmata was created. Driven by his desire to explore experimental and atmospheric music to their core, without labels and stretches, in the beginning of 2020 two songs are released on his personal bandcamp: “She said: "Don't make others suffer for your personal hatred."” and “Ontological Scourge”, combining elements of Noise and Drone with Ambient music.
“The Quarantine Tapes” was born during Italy’s quarantine due to Covid-19. Secluded into his house and being inspired by various artists he decides to delve even more into his feelings of anxiety and oppression, creating live sets without master or mixes to express what reality during a segregated life is.
