06. KOMPRIPIOTR - A Floor Recording Journey

"A Floor Recording Journey" has been recorded using the integrated stereo microphone of the Nokia SL837 cassette recorder. The mobile cassette recorder was pulled like a puppy on a leash, top down through the different rooms and their different floor surfaces. The resulting sounds of the floor surface and the motor activity of the recorder itself were recorded directly onto a reused original audio cassette from 1972 (Die große aktuelle MusiCassetten-Starparade 1972/2) and then digitized for this compilation. KOMPRIPIOTR's 6-year-old daughter captured this acoustic journey through the apartment on film. (www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSGdRCRKIts&t=16s)
