And however
It happens
Pupils burst
At the edge of time filled with a gray sadness
Metal and flowers
Holes are plugged with sounds we've never heard before
Tight voices, the imminent farewell to the loved ones
We stand upon an angry sky
And demoniac angels swallow cities, like the best banquet of the mighty hungry
God no longer sees, then
We silence our prayers and vomit
The hopes of a new day
And however
The blood continues to throb
The sunrises continue to crown the skies
All is confused
Beauty and death
Extermination of the word in the mouths of men, harvesting the new silences
that are to come.
