KALINKA is a dark ambient project based in Germany.

By taking inspiration and stealing ideas from different religions , mysticism/spiritualism Kalinka tries to create its own version of a familiar but distorted complex of spirituality.

In the first album "Seeking an audience with our lady" the listener is invited to follow along a pilgrims trail by describing seven particular events on this journey.
While using the the title of each song to set the context the track itself will hopefully paint a picture of the emotional experience of the situation.
