The Well 04:30
Haunted 03:20

composed by Peter M.

paintings (Sommer 1 / Sommer 2) by Emanuela Ströber
design by EMERGE

released April 26, 2014

Three free-form songs using guitar and synth in a lo-fi, yet extremely melodic way. Peter M.’s urgent, soulful vocals and the spontaneous feel of the recordings combine with a lush, psychedelic wash of synth to create a little gem of truly independent pop art.

Peter M aka The Unquiet Grave is based out of Ontario, Canada. He plays both guitar and synth and incorporates vocals to discuss various perspectives on death and dying. Like a protest singer with a Buddhist perspective, he looks at how money can kill the soul, how working in different places can kill the soul. As with most dystopian works there is a pursuit for hope and rising above the darkness, and The Unquiet Grave actually achieves this with the sheer beauty of his songwriting.

File under: Psychedelic, indie pop
